This is a stripped down acoustic recording to emphasize the basics of the songs. Acoustic Guitars from Danny and Marvin Dykhuis with some nice Grand piano from Chip Dolan sprinkled in the mix.
Songs include originals by Danny Britt and 3 Co-writes with Nashville Songwriter Jon Ims as well as 1 Co-write with Marvin Dykhuis.
This CD also includes 1 of Danny's favorite Guy Clark Songs and a newly written song by Jerry Jeff Walker.

Danny Britt has released his seventh album, All Over The Map and the record is just that, regarding genre styles, upbeat jazzy, old country, folk and American. Danny brought in bandmates from his band Grouchy Like Riley, Chip Dolan (Bruce & Charlie Robison, Kelly Willis, Jimmy Lafave) on piano, Marvin Dyhuis (Tish Hinojosa) on guitar and Colin “Spider” Mackenzie on harp/harmonica, as well as co-writes with Marvin Dykhuis, Jon Ims and P Harris, showcasing Danny’s great writer strengths, combined with excellent co-writes.
Great recording, writing and musicianship. Two thumbs up!
